Membership

APS welcomes applications for membership from those who share a common interest in Best Practice in Construction Health and Safety Risk Management.

By joining APS, members enjoy the opportunities of personal development offered by one of the most progressive membership associations in the construction industry.

APS offers a choice of membership level, appropriate to experience and qualification.

Membership is currently available to individuals as Student, Associate, Full Member and Fellow.

Membership is also available to qualifying practices.

Details on each grade of membership are given on the respective pages in this section of the web site. 

All APS Members have the opportunity to exchange and benchmark best practice, through an active network of 16 Regional APS Groups throughout the UK

APS members benefit from a proven national program of Continuing Professional Development.

APS also provides a range of supporting publications.

APS Registers offer Full Members of APS the opportunity to demonstrate their current competency in specific matters relating to Construction Health and Safety Risk Management.

Details on APS’ Registers are given in the section entitled APS Registers.

Clients seeking a Registered Individual or Practice should register in the Clients’ Area of the web site after which they will be able to search the “APS Register” area.

Third parties seeking confirmation of an Individual’s Membership of APS should register in the Clients’ Area of the web site and use the “Confirm Membership” function.

All APS Membership and Registration Processes are designed to be compliant with ISO 9001:2000.

The responsibility for Membership and Registration Criteria and Standards is that of the APS Membership and Registration Committee in the first instance.

In the interest of continuous improvement, APS welcomes suggestions that could lead to improvement to its Membership and Registration processes.
