Registered Membership
Becoming a Registered Member
Registered membership is open to individuals who have demonstrated that they meet both stages of the application process. The first stage is to demonstrate by application that they meet the APS entry requirements for education, experience and CPD as laid down from time to time by the Association. The second stage is to pass the online examination for the appropriate Register. There is a fee of £58.75 in relation to the online examination.
Continuing Professional Development
Registered members are required to fulfill a commitment to a personal program of Continuing Professional Development. From time to time the Association may ask members to provide proof of compliance. For further information, please see CPD tab on left hand side.

- Notification of APS regional events;
- 6 Digest magazines per annum;
- 6 practice notes per annum together with best practice information;
- Access to the APS practice advice panel;
- Access to the APS legal advice service relating to the interpretation of CDM 2007;
- Access to Law Express, a legal advice service covering many areas of law, including (but not exhaustive) company, consumer, debt, tax, employment, family, personal injury, etc;
- Use of the appropriate APS Register Mark (rule of use apply);
- Discount on APS national and regional CPD events;
- Discount on APS publications.

- Insurance industry recognition of the training and experience of APS’ members;
- APS is a full member of the Construction Industry Council (CIC).
Annual Subscription
Subscriptions are paid annually on the anniversary of the month of becoming a member.

Voting Rights
Registered members have full voting rights within the Association.
Post Nominals
Registered members may use the suffix "RMaPS" after their name.

When completed, please print, sign and send to APS at the address shown, together with any required documentation as indicated on the application form.
